​Nonsuch Nurseries is a traditional, family-owned business. Founded in the 1950s there are now three generations of Goddards’ involved in the day to day running of the nursery. We have operated from this site since 1953 and now have large greenhouses and polytunnel growing areas producing a wide variety of bedding and herbaceous plants of the highest quality.

We have a reputation for being focused on the customers’ requirements and the quality of our plants. We have built up our loyal customer base by lisening to their needs and working with them. We supply the wholesale market, garden centres, garden contractors, town councils and shops. Running our own transport makes it easy to react to our customer demands and makes us flexible on delivery schedules.

We have continued to adopt new growing and production methods to make our nursery efficient. We have evolved to ensure that we work toward a sustainable product solution using recycled and recyclable materials, as best we can. We try to use 100 % rainwater from our extensive catchment tanks.
